Duiker secures location for its new Ammonia Cracker in the port of Rotterdam
Duiker Clean Technologies has secured a location for its new pilot plant, AMMONEX, in the port of Rotterdam.
Duiker Clean Technologies is developing a pilot installation for its AMMONEX technology at the Port of Rotterdam, introducing an innovative process that produces green hydrogen without CO₂ emissions. The pilot will be hosted at Plant One and aims to validate the technology under real-world conditions, with test results expected in 2027.
AMMONEX focuses on the efficient conversion of ammonia into hydrogen, a crucial step in enabling large-scale transport and local availability of sustainable hydrogen worldwide. Through highly precise heat regulation, the system ensures a stable, energy-efficient, and emission-free process.
The project is supported by funding from the EU’s Just Transition Fund, the Dutch DEI+ scheme, and GroenvermogenNL.
