BE-HYFE’s white paper provides insights into the role of hydrogen in Belgium’s future energy system
At the end of March, the BE-HYFE project came to an end. BE-HyFE is a Belgian academic collaboration project, funded by the federal Energy Transition Fund. It has gathered all Belgian knowledge institutes to join forces in fundamental research on the topic of hydrogen. 15 PhD-researchers have worked on various hydrogen related research topics to support the Belgian industry in finding both technological and societal solutions. To finalize the project, the 15 researchers have composed a white paper bringing together their insights regarding the Belgian hydrogen research landscape. By consolidating the knowledge developed within BE-HyFE, the white paper aims to support dialogue between research, industry and policy communities and contribute to ongoing discussions on hydrogen innovation in Belgium.
