Expertisecentrum Duurzame Mobiliteit (KDG)

The Sustainable Mobility expertise center (part of KDG) specializes in research and services related to sustainable fuels for combustion engines, drive systems and the associated control systems. Influenced by technological evolution, they approach the vehicle more and more as a total concept in their research, whereby they also look at the interaction between different vehicle systems. An important part of this is the 'in-vehicle communication' between different components and systems. Their current research projects therefore focus on vehicle networks such as CAN, lin and flexray in order to acquire practical knowledge about the functioning and application possibilities of these networks in various vehicle systems and components.
