Chiyoda Corporation Netherlands B.V (part of Chiyoda Group, multinational engineering company headquartered in Japan and present worldwide) is dedicated to the deployment of technologies and engineering projects in the European carbon neutral market and almost completely devoted to support the development of projects for the import of H2 in European countries through the H2 transport carrier LOHC-MCH (Liquid OrganicHydrogen Carrier–Methyl cyclohexane). Chiyoda developed its LOHC-MCH Dehydrogenation proprietary technology since over a decade, completed the pilot in Japan in 2013-14, accomplished the first global hydrogen supply chain demonstration project transporting H2 from Brunei to Japan by LOHC-MCH in 2020 and proving the technology at industrial scale in 2022 with the transport of H2 in an existing commercial chemical tanker vessel. In collaboration with French partner Axens and their Hydrogenation technology we offer a complete system for transporting H2 from supply to demand sites and we are partnering with several institutions and companies in different European countries for the prompt deployment of H2 imports to Europe.
