REVIVE workshop and factory tour at E-Trucks Europe

6 december 2019, 10:00 - 14:00
REVIVE workshop and factory tour at E-Trucks Europe

The REVIVE project is organising a workshop and factory tour of the E-Trucks factory in Lommel, Belgium, on 6th December 2019. Hydrogen fuel cell refuse trucks are a promising solution for meeting the dual challenges of climate change and air pollution, particularly for urban waste collection. E-Trucks Europe is a leading player in this emerging sector and is currently deploying 15 fuel cell trucks to be tested in real world operations in European cities.

E-Trucks, WaterstofNet, Tractebel-Engie and Element Energy invite end-users and waste-operators to join the workshop. The workshop will be highlighting the potential for hydrogen fuel cell refuse trucks from the perspectives of the municipality end user (City of Groningen) and from an energy waste-from-plant operator, as well as an overview of the ‘Waste-To-Wheels’ study being developed as part of the project. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a tour of the E-Trucks factory, showcasing hydrogen fuel cell trucks in different stages of development, including the first E-trucks prototype truck as part of the REVIVE project.
