Inventory and analysis of permit applications for hydrogen filling stations in the Netherlands
2019
Commissioned by the Dutch government (Rijkswaterstaat) an inventory has been made of the status of the construction of the hydrogen filling stations that have received subsidy / co-financing from the Dutch government.
Despite the subsidies being made available, it turned out that the realization of the hydrogen filling stations is slower than expected.
The aim of this study was to identify the obstacles. It was also investigated how and where more targeted work can be done in the preliminary process for the licensing of hydrogen filling stations in the Netherlands.
A general process schedule has been drawn up on the basis of the analyzes, which allows for following up permit procedures.
Role of WaterstofNet
WaterstofNet carried out the study, making use of the experience it gained in the construction / operation of hydrogen filling stations in the Netherlands and Flanders and its involvement in projects with hydrogen filling stations abroad.
