Spotlight on hydrogen-powered cleaning vehicles

On Thursday 24 April, WaterstofNet joined forces with Rijkswaterstaat/Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Royal Dutch Association for Waste and Cleaning Services (NVRD), and the Province of Utrecht/Waterstof Utrecht to host a dedicated event on hydrogen in municipal cleaning fleets. Around 80 participants gathered at KWR in Nieuwegein to explore the opportunities and experiences surrounding hydrogen-powered cleaning vehicles.

The day featured a rich programme, including:

• A panel discussion with current users of hydrogen vehicles
• Supplier presentations showcasing their hydrogen vehicle offerings
• Insights into the HyTrucks project, and
• A presentation on the electrolyser and hydrogen refuelling station, followed by a site visit
• And many more!
