Solhyd’s green hydrogen breakthrough backed by EIC Accelerator
Another very important recognition for our WIC partner Solhyd, pioneering worldwide their modular green hydrogen technology that generates renewable hydrogen directly from sunlight and air! Last year they received awards a.o. at the World Hydrogen Summit and Gasworld, now they are granted significant support under the latest European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator round. Solhyd will receive a €2.5 million grant plus up to €5 million in equity to industrialize and scale its solution. It is part of a highly competitive programme that selected 61 innovative start-ups and SMEs across Europe for a total of about €467 million in blended finance. This funding will accelerate Solhyd’s efforts to make green hydrogen more affordable and scalable for industrial use, reduce fossil dependence and support breakthrough hydrogen technologies.
