Seven new electrolyser projects funded in the Netherlands

Last autumn a new subsidy mechanism was launched in the Netherlands, for scaling up renewable hydrogen production via electrolysis. The results of this call are now published, with a total amount of 250M€ granted to 7 different projects.  These projects will build in total 101 MW of electrolyser capacity. The 7 projects receiving subsidies are H2 Hollandia (Nieuw-Buinen), Hysolar (Nieuwegein), Groengas asset (Amsterdam), Groengas asset (Groningen), RWE Eemshydrogen (Eemshaven), Van Kessel Olie (Oude Tonge) and VoltH2 (Delfzijl).  91MW of the 101MW will be built in the province of Groningen. The projects should be finalised in 2028.
