Real life experience of the hydrogen backbone construction at WIC meeting

The latest WIC meeting, hosted by Fluxys and Denys at the inspiring Verbeke Foundation, brought together a growing network of hydrogen stakeholders for a day focused on collaboration, innovation, and progress. The session welcomed new members - including Fujitsu, Power to Hydrogen, BMW Group, and HyMoNic - highlighting the continued expansion of the ecosystem, alongside insightful presentations on initiatives such as the NEXTGEN District and the Coalition of the Willing for hydrogen in logistics. Members shared updates ranging from reflections on Hyvolution Paris and advancements in flexible hydrogen pipeline technologies, to support for major projects like Kairos@C. A site visit to Belgium’s hydrogen backbone construction site provided a tangible demonstration of how plans are translating into real infrastructure, underlining the collective commitment to accelerating the hydrogen economy through concrete action and strong partnerships.
