Liège distribution grid operator RESA invests in H2 pilot in its new central operational hub in Jupille
RESA, the main electricity and gas distribution network operator in the Liège region, plans to consolidate and modernize its operations by building a new central operational hub in Jupille, scheduled to open in October 2027. This facility will unify services, serve as the nerve center for network management and crisis control, and replace its current sites in Ans and on Rue Sainte-Marie in Liège. The nearly zero-energy building will feature 673 solar panels and host a Walloon-region-financed pilot project for producing, storing, and using solar-generated hydrogen to support RESA’s vehicle fleet, reinforcing its role in energy transition and distributed energy management.
