Hydrogen high on agenda at launch 'Flanders Technology & Innovation'

The Flemish government launched Flanders Technology & Innovation (FTI), a large-scale project on technology and innovation. FTI wants to initiate a powerful sequel to the strong Flanders Technology International of the 80s and 90s.

The most important message here is that Flanders must fully commit to the development of new technologies for a sustainable future.

Not just words, but also actions!

Five domains have been defined, of which 'energy and climate' is one.  At the launch video, at which the entire Flemish government was present, hydrogen was in the spotlight. Specifically, the hydrogen section was filled out by a conversation with Flemish ministers Zuhal Demir, Matthias Diependaele and director of WaterstofNet Adwin Martens.

WaterstofNet with its strong regional hydrogen ecosystem is ready to help shape FTI, because as mentioned in the video "Hydrogen is part of the solution for a future sustainable energy supply and Flanders has a strong starting position to be among the leaders in Europe in terms of technology development”.
