Dutch “Milieulijst voor milieuvriendelijke investeringen” on hydrogen-powered tools expires in 2024

In The Netherlands, the latest Environmental List for tax-advantaged environmentally friendly investments in 2024 has been significantly modified, due to amended European state aid rules and review of the MIA and Vamil schemes. As a result, entrepreneurs will no longer receive tax breaks on investments in hydrogen tools. RVO gives the following explanation: “Entrepreneurs will no longer get tax breaks for investments in hydrogen-powered tools. There is a ban on possible use of grey hydrogen under new state aid requirements. This cannot be properly controlled. These implements are therefore no longer on the Environment List.”
