Decahydron and Siemens partner to advance natural hydrogen and carbon mineralization in the UAE
Decahydron has formalised a research partnership with academic institutions (iCRAG, DIAS and UoE) to advance scalable natural hydrogen production and CO₂ mineralisation technologies that could deliver abundant, low-carbon hydrogen while permanently locking away emissions, operating entirely without water. Building on this scientific foundation, Decahydron has also entered a strategic collaboration with Siemens Energy and Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) to assess the feasibility of using naturally occurring geological hydrogen directly for power generation and industrial applications in the UAE. This initiative leverages Siemens’ expertise in hydrogen and energy systems to evaluate commercial potential and support strategic planning as drilling and resource evaluation advance in 2026.
