Big interest, big ambitions: submissions for Clean Hydrogen Call

The Clean Hydrogen Partnership (JU CHP) recently closed its 2025 call for proposals - with an impressive 184,5 million EUR in funding on the table. The interest was overwhelming: each topic received at least six submissions, with some—such as Hydrogen Valleys and End Uses: Clean Heat and Power—attracting as many as 19 proposals each.

This strong response shows the growing momentum behind hydrogen R&D in Europe. Among the applicants are several WIC members, who have submitted projects covering different parts of the hydrogen value chain. It’s now up to the evaluation process to decide which ideas will be brought to life, but one thing is clear: the sector is buzzing with activity and ambition.
