Belgium and Oman tighten ties for green hydrogen
The Belgian Hydrogen Council, Fluxys, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Deme and the cabinet of Minister Van der Straeten invited an Omani delegation on the 8th of May to tighten ties for green hydrogen. Energy Minister Tinne Van der Straeten (Green) and her Omani counterpart Salim Al-Aufi signed a declaration of intent on green hydrogen in Brussels. In it, they welcomed the initiative of Belgian dredging company DEME, that wants to launch certification, a kind of recognized green label, for the hydrogen it wants to import from Oman to Belgium and Europe.
