Strong growth of the Waterstof Industrie Cluster (WIC) continues: 20 new members!

The strong growth of the Hydrogen Industry Cluster continues. We were pleased to welcome over 20 new members again in the past six months.

The fact that hydrogen is an indispensable part of the energy transition is becoming a reality for more and more companies. We are happy to help them on their way to see what hydrogen can do for them.

We are happy to introduce you to our new members:

De Lijn, the Flemish transport company that is evaluating the use of hydrogen technology for the greening of its fleet in addition to battery-electric solutions.

DAF, the manufacturer of trucks, who want to make road transport more sustainable with their new technological solutions and are also investigating the possibilities of hydrogen for this purpose.

Brussels Airport, which is also investigating hydrogen solutions for their logistics operations at Zaventem airport, for example in the Stargate project within the European Greenports call.

Universiteit Gent, which is developing expertise on hydrogen in different research areas, from materials to geopolitics, which they bundle in their 'Hydrogen Platform'.

Bekaert, which provides technological solutions, based on beams, for various applications.  Regarding hydrogen, they supply porous transport layers for PEM electrolysis and combustion boilers.

Sodeco Valves, which supplies industrial valves and valves for numerous sectors, including chemical, petrochemical and utility applications
