H2 Import call launched next month

To make Belgian ports ready for large volumes of hydrogen, energy minister Tinne Van der Straeten is launching an "H2 Import call" next month. This call worth 10 MEUR supports the development of hydrogen import infrastructure in our ports, crucial for injecting this hydrogen into the transport network. By 2026, Belgium will commission 150 km of hydrogen pipelines. A hydrogen connection with Germany will be established by 2028, connecting our ports to our industries and those of our neighbouring countries. This was stated by energy minister Tinne Van der Straeten in the Chamber on Tuesday
