Hydro Team Progress Reveal Event
A year ago, KU Leuven students launched Hydro Team - an ambitious plan to develop a hydrogen-powered race car and compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans by 2030. The goal: show the potential of hydrogen as a sustainable energy solution and drive real innovation.
The Hydro Team invites you to the Progress Reveal Event to discover their journey - from first designs to the prototype car with a hydrogen combustion engine, plus a look ahead with the new team taking over. The evening wraps up with a networking reception to meet partners, team members and fellow innovators.
The event takes place on 9 September 2025 at the Van Mossel Ford Garage Herent (Brusselsesteenweg 57, 3020 Herent). Doors open at 19:00 with a small reception, followed by the main presentation starting at 20:00.
