The Clean Hydrogen Partnership has launched its 2026 Call for Proposals, making €105 million available under the Horizon Europe programme to support cutting-edge hydrogen research and innovation across Europe. A total of 21 topics are included, covering renewable hydrogen production, storage and distribution, transport applications, clean heat and power, cross-cutting challenges, and dedicated funding for Hydrogen Valleys to scale up integrated regional ecosystems. With €25 million reserved specifically for Hydrogen Valleys, the call aims to strengthen Europe’s industrial leadership, accelerate market deployment, and advance hydrogen’s role as a cornerstone of the EU’s climate-neutral energy transition.
