Van Moer Logistics is a growing logistics service provider offering tailor-made logistics solutions. The group is active in transport, distribution, storage, intermodal logistics and tank container logistics. Jo Van Moer and Anne Verstraeten founded the company in 1990 with 1 truck and grew into a significant player within the Port of Antwerp, Ghent and Brussels. With 40 locations in Belgium and Germany, Van Moer Logistics concentrates on building long-term partner relationships where it listens to its customers' needs to further optimise their processes. The group now has 500 trucks, 800,000 M2 of warehouse space and 9 barges. Together with 2,200 employees, Jo and Anne continue to build their family business every day with an exceptional and innovative vision.Van Moer Logistics continuously invest in their fleet of rolling stock. All the trucks have a Euro 6 engine, which manifests itself mainly in less NOx and particulate matter. In November 2021, Van Moer took their first dual-fuel truck into service. In the meantime, the fleet has 11 dual-fuel hydrogen trucks. The dual fuel hydrogen functionality is exactly what makes this truck so interesting, the goal is to run 100 per cent on hydrogen, but in daily life on the road you have to take into account unpredictable factors such as traffic jams and waiting hours. Thanks to the diesel reserve, we don't have to worry about the truck running out of fuel in the middle of its journey.
