Fluxys

Fluxys is the Belgian gas network operator. Fluxys' core activities concern the transport of large volumes of natural gas to large industrial customers, gas-powered power stations and distribution networks. In addition, it has interests in three methane terminals, including in the port of Zeebrugge. Fluxys is examining the role of power-to-gas, on the one hand to make the gas in their network greener and on the other hand to be able to use the gas network as an energy buffer in an energy system based on variable renewable energy.
