WaterstofNet elected as member of steering group CertifHy project

Monday November 20 the first plenary meeting of the CertifHy Stakeholder Platform took place in Brussels, with considerable interest from the European industry.

In the CertifHy project the consortium HINICIO, ECN, GREXEL, LBST and TÜV SÜD have joined hands to bring a Europe-wide green and low carbon hydrogen GO scheme closer to implementation financed by the FCH JU. GO stands for (Green Hydrogen) Guarantee of Origin.

The Stakeholder Platform gathers all relevant and interested stakeholders to ensure the GO scheme meets producer and user expectations and barriers and gaps in regulations and standards are addressed.

Four thematic working groups composing the Stakeholder Platform will contribute to the development of the GO scheme and provide recommendations for the GO scheme pilot.
The working groups and the four pilot projects (among which the hydrogen installation of Colruyt in Halle) on which the GO scheme will be tested, were presented.

WaterstofNet has been elected as chair of the working group related to “Guarantee of Origin commercialisation and use”. This working group will study the requirements and opportunities of the GO's from a user perspective.

As chair of the working group WaterstofNet is also a member of the steering group of the project. This gives us the opportunity to get more insights in the project developments and to involve the WaterstofNet partners in this strategically important project.
